The first lighthouse at Cape Spencer was built in 1873, and over the years, several versions have been constructed. The current white, square concrete tower, built in 1961, stands 8 meters tall and is now automated and managed by the Canadian Coast Guard. It is only a few meters from the parking areas, but there are no restrooms or other facilities here. Bring a coat, even on sunny days, because it often gets windy here.
