It is wonderful to walk and enjoy the Maashorst every season. But in the fall it is just a little bit more, because then they shoot out of the ground... mushrooms! In all shapes, sizes and colours, the most common ones include:
Fly agaric, fairy bench, red cabbage fungus, potato bovis mushroom, porcini mushroom, large parasol fungus, porcelain fungus, antler fungus, tinder fungus, etc. etc.
And who knows what treasures lie even deeper in the forest... but it's best to leave them alone. Because we have to be careful with our beautiful nature!

Say autumn, say mushrooms. They can also be seen in other seasons, but conditions are often ideal for mushrooms in autumn. Nice and moist and warm, a good time to reproduce. The otherwise invisible hyphae form fruiting bodies, the mushrooms, and spread via spores.
