An incredibly beautiful lake of peat origin, which belongs to the oxbow lake and floodplain of the Klyazma River. On the shore of the lake is the village of Bogdarnya, where traditional ancient wooden houses have been preserved to this day. The village is surrounded by a protected forest, which is part of the general part of the Krutovsky forest reserve of the Meshchera region. All roads leading to the village are completely sandy and difficult to pass for a bicycle.
