Very beautiful section of this route. Very beautiful scenery, very wide, flat land that allows a wide view. Great tour, beautiful region!

From the confluence of the Tauben Aland south of Seehausen, the river is called the Aland. The Aland rises as the Tauber Aland north of the village of Räbel near the Elbe, flows northwest past Werben and takes in the Biese in the south of Seehausen north of the Biesenhof. The ditch that flows into the Aland near Esack, called the Elbdeichwässerung, was also formerly called the Tauber Aland. In the lower reaches, the Aland changes from the Altmark to the Lüchow-Dannenberg district, where it flows into the Elbe after around two kilometers near Schnackenburg. Most of the flow is within the Elbe glacial valley. The section of the river known as the Aland is around 27 kilometers long.
