Well-developed bike path, runs mostly on top of the dike. However, there is usually the possibility to drive on the land side behind the dike (when the wind blows too much from the front).
You pass nice villages and breakpoints "nature" that provide enlightenment. Storks, herons, geese and many unknown and beautiful bird sounds.

The International Elbe Cycle Route is Germany's most popular long-distance cycle route. The Brandenburg part runs here in the Prignitz mostly on the dike. The UNESCO Biosphere Reserve River Landscape Elbe-Brandenburg extends between Havelberg and Dömitz along the unpaved river with its unique natural areas. Wonderful nature observations, vastness and tranquility determine the character of the tour.
