Normally, the Albtalbahn is a modern means of local transport that brings commuters and day trippers to the northern Black Forest quickly and in time with electric trains. However, once a month you can also immerse yourself in the good old days when the historic steam train of the Ulmer Eisenbahnfreunde (UEF) travels from Ettlingen to Bad Herrenalb.
