The incline leading up to this point is quite challenging, but the views are absolutely worth it. To the east, you can see the Salton Sea, to the west lies Oceanside, to the south there's Mt. Laguna, and to the north, you'll find the Palomar Observatory, providing a 360-degree panoramic viewpoint.
