Belgian bunker (475m east of B32), constructed as part of the Ghent Bridge Head. This defense position was constructed between 1934 and 1938 eight kilometers south of Ghent to defend the national reduit. Its construction was part of the fortification policy that Belgium pursued after the First World War.

The actual bridgehead was made up of two resistance nests – Betsberg and Muntekouter – and three support points – Semmerzake, Eke and Astene. The resistance nests and support points were connected to each other via a curtain, consisting of three lines of defense.

This bunker was part of the third defense line of the bridgehead, which ran behind the Betsberg resistance nest.

This bunker contains one entrance hall and one interior space, equipped with a stepped firing opening for a machine gun in a south-southwest direction. This field of fire was matched to that of the nearby bunker B32. An oreillon (protruding bunker wall) at the southern corner served to additionally protect this firing opening. The bunker was equipped with a machine gun of the Maxim, Hotchkiss or Colt type.

The bunker was camouflaged as a stable, surrounded with plants. To this end, a wooden frame with poplar planks was placed on a brick foundation against the bunker walls. A gable roof was installed on the bunker, covered with red Boom tiles.

On the orders of the German occupier, iron parts were basically removed in 1941 and bunker openings were bricked up in 1944. The bunker is now equipped as a bat shelter.
