The “Zum Goldenen Hirschen” inn is run by the Müller family in the 9th generation.
“Der Hirschwirt”, as the inn was called at the very beginning, has existed since 1513 and is the oldest inn in Burgthann. The name Müller has been on the house since 1802 and over the years it has developed into a popular meeting place for the village community.
Leonhard Müller, who took over the property from his father in 1941, fundamentally rebuilt the restaurant from 1962 to 1963 and turned the old inn into an inn.
