The island village of Reine is one of Lofoten's most famous sights simply due to the sheer number of photos in circulation. Reine is one of the most famous fishing villages in Lofoten and has existed since 1743. This is the right place if you want to capture one of the typical Lofoten motifs and take photos from one of the most popular Lofoten viewpoints.

is one of the most visited and photographed places in the Lofoten. Reine has barely 2000 inhabitants (relatively a lot for the Lofoten). If you cross the Lofoten from north to south on the Norwegian Scenic Route E10, you will automatically pass the beautiful fishing village of Reine.
This is the right place if you want to capture one of the typical Lofoten motifs and take photos from one of the most popular Lofoten viewpoints. Reine is therefore "typically Lofoten".
