Fort Stevenson State Park has miles of trails, rentable facilities, playgrounds, and an interpretive center, among other things. The park is on the shore of Lake Sakakawea and offers a variety of water recreation options.
The park is named after a military supply depot from the late 1800s and has a park museum that offers information on the history of the park as well as the flora and fauna found in the park today.
