Information on the 16 inscriptions in the Golden Hall:
The gold leaf is decisive for the ambience. And the 16 inscriptions and coats of arms seen around the room. The 60 centimeter high wall frieze was designed by the Schwabach artists Walter Schöler and Max Friese. The Golden Hall still commemorates companies, some of which no longer exist, but which played an important role for Schwabach back then:
Needle Factory H.J. Wenglein's Norica and Herald work; needle factory Drei-S-Werk; Needle factory Traumüller & Raum; wire factory Johann Leonhard Hüttlinger; Richard Bergner screw and spring factory; needle factory Staedtler & Uhl; Needle factory Johann Leonhard Schmauser; offset printer Johann Leupold; Schwabacher Tagblatt; savings bank.
In addition, the long tradition of brewing beer and striking gold in Schwabach is remembered. The city coat of arms from 1371, 1480 and 1808 can also be seen, as well as the seal of the community from 1329.
