This inclined path connects Lagh da la Regina to Lagh dal Mat, passing by some smaller lakes. They are located in the Val dal Saent valley, bounded by the hills of Piz Combul. Altogether, there are seven lakes formed here since the ice age. However, up to three of the smaller ponds dry up completely in the summer. Lagh dal Mat is the largest and also the one located at the highest altitude, just above 2,500 meters. Despite the difference in altitude, the terrain is not technical and rather easy to run.
