This gorge is easy to walk on and very impressive. We have combined it with a climb over the yellow trail next to the fort - then descent over the gorge. Definitely recommendable - very varied!

Parking Advise: Fountains of Parorion (Πηγές Παρορείου, 37°03'45.4"N 22°22'56.7"E // 37.062612, 22.382420) but start the hike through Mystras from there.

The trail is now accessible again.
Before the chapel (about 50 meters), the hiking trail branches off to the left.
Afterward, follow the trail until the end of the gorge. A right turn down will take you to a road.
Approximately 2.5 - 3 hours. A very pleasant hike.
