The column, decorated with a statue of P. Maria, dates back to 1727, but in 1868 it underwent a major repair. In the first years of the 21st century, it underwent an expensive reconstruction. A statue of P. Mary – Immaculate is perched on the composite capital of the column. The column itself is surrounded by a four-sided baluster railing, in the corners of which figures of St. Vavřinec, Jan Nepomucký, Šebestián and Florián. The middle pillar is decorated with the coat of arms of the city of Bystřice
