      The station is currently uninhabited and, despite being in a sufficient state of structural conservation, advanced areas of deterioration can be seen.
      The comparison with photograph No. 10 taken in 2011 by E. Ruggeri, when the station was still inhabited, highlights the progress of the deterioration over time.

      Furthermore, superstructures and modifications that alter the original design of the building are found.

        The structure, like all subsequent FVB ones, entered service in 1926 when the second railway section was completed and became operational up to San Martino de' Calvi Nord (today Piazza Brembana).

        The Camerata Cornello plant had a track doubled for passenger traffic and a track dedicated to goods traffic, with a goods and baggage storage room.
