The blast furnace of Igelbäcken is one of the few preserved ironworks in the province. It was built in 1826 to replace an older smelter and remained in use until 1923. The building has been protected as a national building monument since 1993.
A very beautiful trail! We hiked it with two dogs. We were initially very skeptical because of the wooden paths (about 300 meters long), but afterward, you're rewarded with breathtaking views! Including a few short breaks, it took us just under 2.5 hours.
