In the center of Kotor is the well-known buildings, namely the Romanesque St. Tryphon Cathedral. Here are the relics of the patron saint of the city, St. Tryphon kept. The St. Tryphon Cathedral is the most beautiful church in Montenegro. The towers were rebuilt after the 1667 earthquake.

The church also houses a small museum. This takes you to the first floor and you can see the square from there.

The church is in possession of gold and silver relics, which include works by local masters from the 14th to the 18th centuries. The interior of the cathedral is decorated with frescoes by Greek masters. The most valuable part of the interior is the host chalice from the fourteenth century - well worth seeing.
