The 900 m moorland near La Bresse is a wonderful destination to enjoy nature, relax and unwind. No matter what time of year I've been here it was always quiet and there were hardly any people to see. For the main season on the opposite ski slope is probably going to be a lot going on but otherwise I only experienced natural sounds there. The wind whistling over the lake or the animals. There are some educational boards on the forest parking lot which show a lot of information about about 10ha lake. Nice round in the wild Vosges.

2km circular route with information boards about flora and fauna. A peat bog is also in the lake. The lake is at about 900hm. An oasis of nature!

The Lac de Lispach is always worth a trip, either you hike here from Lac de Longemer or come directly by car.
The path around the lake is beautiful, some sections are designed as footbridges.

This lake, a lacustrine peat bog, with an area of 10 ha is located at an altitude of 900m. A very well laid out path allows you to go around it. This trail is decorated with educational panels on the formation and life of peat bogs. Presence of Drosera on the edge of the lake (protected insectivorous plant).

The Barrage de Malpasset (French: Barrage = dam) was a dam in Provence near Fréjus in the southern French department of Var.

Completed in 1954, the reservoir served to supply water and irrigate the nearby Fréjus plain (orchards). It collapsed in 1959, and the resulting flood killed 423 people.

The Barrage de Malpasset was a double-curved, equal-angle arch dam with a variable radius, approximately 66 m high above the foundation, approximately 222 m long at its crest, and had a volume of 47,857 m³. It was built between 1952 and 1954; according to other sources, construction began as early as 1941. The construction cost (in 1955 prices) was 580 million francs. The French engineer André Coyne was involved in the construction, and the Var department was the owner.
