The small area of Cala s'Agulla in Blanes is the result of erosion caused by the effect of water and wind. The cove owes its name to Punta de s'Agulla, a rock that rises at one end.

It is completely made up of rocks and stones. Thus, it is not a very appropriate space to put the towel and enjoy a sunny day; On the other hand, it is a magnificent space for snorkeling. It is highly recommended to complement the visit to the cove with a walk around the Pinya de Rosa Botanical Garden.

Access to the cove must be done through the path of Santa Cristina, right next to the entrance to the Pinya de Rosa Botanical Garden. It is possible that Google Maps or other route markers indicate us a wrong path that crosses a private estate.

The beach and coast can only be reached via private paths! So-called hiking trails through the area are pure bushes and are not recommended, especially since there are numerous signs indicating that entry is prohibited.
