The only field stone church of St. Pauli Church on the island of Rügen, built around 1400, is visible on a hill. A predecessor church probably stood here. The Bobbin church will have been one of the four medieval pilgrimage churches on the island of Rügen. The oldest piece of the church is the baptismal font around 1300, which probably already stood in the previous church mentioned above.
