Housed in a 17th-century guardhouse, the Musée de la Bataille de Rocroi tells the story of the decisive Battle of Rocroi on May 19, 1643, in which the young Duke of Enghien (later known as the Grand Condé) won a French victory over the Spanish army during the Thirty Years' War. The museum features a relief map of the star-shaped fortified town, models of soldiers, and informative panels on troop movements and the historical context.

The museum, located in a former 17th century guardhouse, traces the victory of Grand Condé over the Spaniards on May 19, 1643, at the heart of a Thirty Years' War which opened the reign of the Sun King.

April to September (except July/August): Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

July and August: Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
