The rest area is located in the village Kraupa at the junction Liebenwerdaer Str. / Mühlenstraße / Alte Poststraße. Here is also an information board and a parking lot. An ideal starting point for hikers arriving by car.

The rest area is about 250 m from the bus stop. However, it is ideal for motorized hikers as the starting and ending point of the hike. here there is information about the heathland through display boards and in written form for your own use. For non-motorized hikers there is the possibility to spend longer waiting times for the return journey by bus, since there is no seating at the bus stop (however, there is no weather protection.
