The Lookout Tower is located at the end of a dead-end spur trail of the Red Bird Creek Loop Trail. It is a wonderful destination on a great hike through Fort McAllister State Park.
The trail is relatively easy and winds through a variety of habitats, including forests, marshes, and creeks. You will see a variety of plants and animals along the way. The Lookout Tower provides an incredible view over the marshes.
