A popular excursion destination in Krakow am See is the observation tower on Jörnberg. It is only a few hundred meters away from the bathing establishment. From above you have a spectacular 360 degree panoramic view of Lake Krakow, the many idyllic houses on the shore and the beautiful nature. Wooded hills, meadows and fields, with the deep blue of the lake in between - the purest picture-book landscape. It's worth climbing the many steps.

At an approximate height of 24m is the viewing platform of the tower (total height: ~27m). From the tower there is a magnificent view of the surrounding lakes and hills. A spiral staircase of 126 steps leads up the tower. The viewing platform is 100m above sea level.
