Crescent Beach is accessed via a short spur trail off the main Knob Trail. After descending a few wooden stairs down to the shore, you arrive on the Buzzards Bay side of the thin neck of land that leads to the Knob. With its slightly coarser sand and cobbled shores, this beach is a scenic spot with breathtaking views of the bay. It's a great small beach for people of all ages to play in the water, sunbathe on the shore, and hunt for shells, hermit crabs, and periwinkle snails.
