The Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge is an arched bridge that spans the Colorado River between the states of Arizona and Nevada. It opened in 2010.
It was named after Mike O'Callaghan, governor of Nevada 1971-1979, and Pat Tillman, a football player who left the Arizona Cardinals to join the US Army. He was killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan in 2004.

The way to the motorway bridge is wheelchair accessible. Access is from the Nevada side. Crossing the Colorado takes you to another time zone. In Nevada Pacific Time applies, in Arizona Mountain Time.

A stop on the way to Vegas or vice versa is a must.
There are enough free parking spaces, of course you have to walk a bit. But the view makes up for everything.
The Hoover Dam is still a must-see and a must-see when visiting Las Vegas. About an hour from Las Vegas, it's easy to get there to see the dam in all its glory.
