Italian military mule track from the Great War that connected Forte Rione to Monte Cogolo and, further down, to the Caliano gunboat. It is a fortified belt dotted with military works to explore: tunnels, trenches, artillery emplacements, shelters.
One of these caves, original in its kind, distinguished by a high entrance, opens towards the sky: here a large reflector was installed which, at night, by means of a large winch, slid upwards and returned to the Sunrise.
A long, restored and passable trench defended the slope exposed to the Austro-Hungarian enemy front.
