The refuge is the ideal place for a break during excursions around the San Pellegrino Pass. In the restaurant of the refuge you can taste the typical cuisine of the Dolomites and magnificent desserts. The main feature of the Flora Alpina Refuge (Hotel) is certainly the location. It is located at 1800 m above sea level with an exceptional panorama of the majestic peaks of the Dolomites, surrounded by nature and peace but at the same time it is easy to reach by car both in summer and in winter. Leaving the refuge on foot, you can choose from an infinite number of paths suitable for all needs and mostly beaten even during the winter season. They are located just 2 km away from the ski lifts of the San Pellegrino Ski Area which are open from December to Easter, while the cable car to Col Margherita is open from June to September. For lovers of two wheels, the surrounding area is the ideal place to try your hand at epic climbs in the footsteps of the many champions who have chosen to stay with us. In fact, the memorable feats of Ivan Basso, Vincenzo Nibali, and Peter Sagan started from our shelter, and right here they completed their preparation with their teams, before winning respectively the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France and the green jersey at the Tour de France.
