From the Danube Cycle Path, you have a fascinating view of the Linz Chemical Park – one of Austria's most important industrial areas and a real economic powerhouse for the city. Numerous companies from the chemical and plastics industries operate here on approximately one square kilometer. Thanks to its location on the Danube and its excellent road and rail connections, everything runs like clockwork.

But don't worry: Linz has much more to offer than just industry. A beautifully preserved old town, modern culture, and superbly developed cycle paths along the Danube make the city a worthwhile destination.
