In an exemplary cooperation from December 2005 between the nature and environment working group, E.ON Ruhrgas, the city of Braunfels, the Naturlandstiftung Lahn-Dill-Kreis e.V. and HGON (Hessian Society for Ornithology and Nature Conservation e.V.) - over the necessary compensatory measures - additional small habitats, such as ponds and damp sinks, created.
