The Stablét Visitor Center is dedicated to the life and habits of the marmot, a rodent that is very common in the high-altitude alpine pastures and is the result of a project for the recovery and arrangement of an old mountain hut. With the help of simple descriptive panels, the didactic itinerary, set up in the structure, guides the visitor to discover the characteristics of the marmots and their main life habits. The images portray the winter hibernation, the spring "awakening", the family organization and the daily "work" of the friendly rodent. A large model reproduces the interior of his den, the small house in which he takes refuge.
The Visitor Center is located at the foot of the well-known and spectacular Saènt waterfalls, of the Prà di Saènt, also known as the "Prato delle Marmotte" and near the Staircase of the Monumental Larches.
