The Old Man of Storr is one of the Trotternish Peninsula's most impressive rock pinnacles. It stands in a phenomenal landscape, amongst other extraordinary rocky features, just below the summit of The Storr itself. The Old Man is best viewed from a distance, with the tremendous landscape laid out around it, but you can walk right up to this enormous monolith too. Wear sturdy hiking boots as the path is rocky and rough.

Follow the path upwards and through a gate further back, you have already escaped the masses. Most do not continue, we have seen even in rush hour, only a few run there.
