About 35 km northeast of Heilbronn is the small town of Sindringen am Kocher.
Although it only has around 1000 inhabitants, it has a city wall, a castle and an eventful past.
The small town is a district of the town of Forchtenberg in the Hohenlohe district, but still has town rights today.
Since the Upper Germanic-Raetian Limes, which leads to the Jagst Valley via Öhringen, was close to Sindringen, the town is also called "Limesstadt".
