If you are the more adventurous type of hiker and want to escape the crowds of Dante's View you can hike all the way to the top of Mount Perry. It's definitely more of a scramble. It's kind of a loose surface ridge walk to get up there and not as clear of a trail as at the start of the trail. But with suitable shoes and a good physique, it is definitely rewarding because of the constant views over Death Valley National Park.
