One of the highlights of the “Celtic Path” hiking route is undoubtedly the panoramic view from the summit of the Öchsenberg with the Celtic cross, which was shaped by decades of basalt mining. There are several benches up there and a little further down there is a hut that is open on weekends.

Take advantage of the nice weather and hike up there. Also suitable for beginners. But still recommend sturdy shoes.

with good visibility you have a great view. When it is slippery and snowy, the ascent from the hut to the summit cross is not that easy.
