Goudargues is a French 🇫🇷 commune located in the north-east of the Gard department in the Occitanie region.

Exposed to a Mediterranean climate, it is drained by the Cèze, the Merderis and various other small rivers.

A water town, Goudargues is nicknamed "the little Venice of the Gard" or "la petite Venise gardoise" in reference to the main canal lined with bicentennial plane trees that crosses the heart of the village and its secondary canals.

The town's architectural heritage includes two listed buildings: the Notre-Dame-et-Saint-Michel church, listed in 1939, and the priory, listed in 1939.

Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, which is nicknamed the little Venice of Vaucluse, has a little sister in the department located on the other side of the Rhône.

This is the village of Goudargues in the Gard which will charm you with its many small canals of the Cèze which crosses its town centre. It's nice !
