A very panoramic promontory overlooking the Tretti mountains, overlooking the Alba district: to the left, Mount Summano with its sharp, jagged ridges; in front, the Vicenza plain and hills; to the right, the Novegno massif, with the rounded Monte Giove in the foreground.

On some maps (e.g., OpenStreetMap), it is referred to as the 'Croce del Brazòme': in reality, Cima Brazome, not always marked, consists of two peaks further west, overlooking the Astico Valley; while behind this cross, above the trail, lies Monte Rozzo Covole. Another curious and inappropriate name given to the Rozzo Covolo pass is 'Passo del Gatto' (Cat's Pass): many years ago, when members of the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) came to clear the trail, they often spotted a wild cat, and for this reason they began to affectionately refer to it as 'Passo del Gatto' (Cat's Pass)!
