Alta Kugela is a long and spectacular natural canopy that emerges unexpectedly from the forest!

It is formed by overlapping sedimentary layers of varying composition that have undergone varying degrees of erosion over millennia, resulting in its distinctive vaulted shape. It extends for about eighty meters, maintaining a constant height of 3-4 meters.

It served as a shelter for prehistoric man and soldiers during the First World War.
