Pretty place where the river Ribeiradas Parades comes to the sea over stones and forms a small bathing lake. We used the place for a break and contemplation and to buy water.

The beach of Pataias is protected in a small bay. A stream flows into the sea here. A nice place to spend a day at the beach with children.
Several restaurants and cafes invite you to stop off. Highly recommended is the beach restaurant "Somar" with delicious grilled fish at reasonable prices and the Pastelaria "Agroeira" with its delicious coffee and cake.
