The Gardetta Refuge is located on the plateau of the same name and can be reached either from Colle del Preit (about an hour's walk) or from Viviere through the Gardetta Pass (about 2h 30m of walking). There is also a charging station for e-bikes on site.

Beautifully located Rifugio from the Italian CAI, operated by Paolo and Kathi. Even on weekends, when the weather is busy, there is always a very friendly (multilingual) team.
Charging option for e-MTB and refreshment and overnight accommodation.
Domestic pig "Salsiccia", dog and chickens roam freely. Goat and horse complete the idyll.
