Cerro Goye is at 1,630 meters. You can reach the summit via a very steep climb from Colonia Suiza. It goes over somewhat impassable sand tracks, fallen tree trunks and finally through rocky terrain along the mountain ridge to the highest point.
The view from here seems limitless. Mountains, lakes, forests!
A head for heights and sure-footedness are essential. The terrain is very steep and sloping in places. Take enough water with you.
The path is marked with a red dot.
If you like, you can climb to another peak or take the moderate descent back to Colonia Suiza. The descent via this side is highly recommended, as this is also a mountain bike trail and is therefore easy to walk on.
