Noss Mayo is a hidden gem. Quiet, picturesque and on the waterside of the River Yealm, it is a wonderful place to visit or start a hike.

You can take a ferry from here across to Newton Ferries or to the South West Coast Path on the other side of the estuary. There are two pubs, The Swan Inn and The Ship Inn. It is the perfect hideaway.
