In this stretch of coast we find three small beaches framed by two points that go into the sea, Calafató to the north and Ribellet to the south forming a small bay.
The first one we find is Calafató beach, according to the I.C.G.C., although I have found somewhere that they call it Febral beach.
It is part of the complex called Les Tres Cales, which gives its name to the nearby development.
It is another example of a beach formed at the end of a ravine. Its slopes, covered with white pine (Pinus halepensis), mastic (Pistacea lentiscus) and rosemary (Rosmarinus officianalis) go into the sea, creating a beach that is well protected from the south and north winds.
This is one of the beaches most loved by divers and snorkelers in the area due to the variety of landscapes found in the sea; the rock full of holes where we can find cuttlefish (Sepia officinales), small gobids, sea noodles (Anemonia viridis), gobies (Thalossoma pavo) or damsels (Coris julis), and the presence of posidonia (Posidonia oceanica), a marine plant that we only find in the Mediterranean, which forms grasslands that function like a small forest in the sea; they provide oxygen to the water, help alleviate climate change by fixing carbon dioxide, and which also serve as a place of refuge for more than 400 species, such as cuttlefish or juveniles of a multitude of fish such as bream or thrushes among others.
It is a sandy beach about 45 meters long and separated from the smaller one further south by a rocky inlet.
