It is called Plaza del Pan because in the past it was where the Municipal office for the sale of bread was located in times of famine. There are, among other buildings, the town hall, the palaces of the nobility and the clergy, the College and the Rafael Morales Cultural Center. In the Renaissance style, it has the shape of a Roman circus and was designed in 1579 by Nicolás de Vergara el Mozo.
