The Alte Post in Hamburg is a building completed in 1847 on Poststrasse in Hamburg's Neustadt, which was named after it. The city's largest administrative building at the time was one of the oldest post buildings before the establishment of the uniform Reichspost in Germany.

The Alte Post in Hamburg is a 1847 completed building on the named after her post road in the Hamburg Neustadt. It was built after the great fire of 1842 to plans by Alexis de Chateauneuf from the need to combine several of the represented in the city post offices in a house. The largest administrative building in the city at that time is considered an outstanding example of the so-called Hamburg Nachbrandarchitektur and is one of the oldest post office before the establishment of the unified Reichspost in Germany.
The listed building between the street Große Bleichen and the Bleichenfleet contained in 1971 after complete reconstruction in a shopping arcade, which initiated the transformation of this part of Hamburg city center to a passage quarter.
