The circular route around the Lankesee is about 4 kilometers long and leads through a mixed forest, across meadows and along the lake. The route is not too demanding and is therefore well suited for families with children or also for older people - however, at the moment (2023) there are trees overturned in some places and after a rain it can get muddy in some places.

The lake itself is a small paradise for anglers and nature lovers. Here you can relax in peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful landscape. The lake is about 6 hectares in size and has a depth of up to 8 meters.

On the side of the lake, between birch trees a moor on the left one on the right, there are many trees on the ground, some of which we have to climb over.

I really liked the trail in winter. The few fallen trees can easily be avoided. In most cases, beaten paths have already formed. One of the most scenic routes in the region.
