The Roc Diolon is a summit of more than 3,000 meters that is very easy to reach, passing through the Col de Freissinières. And it offers a spectacular view of the south of the Massif des Ecrins, the town of Orcières-Merlette and the Champsaur.
Facing the Grand Lac des Estaris lake is the Col de Freissinières, which we reached quickly, in our case bypassing the lake on its left and joining the path halfway.

At the Col de Freissinières, at 2,782 meters, just take the path to the right, which climbs through zigzags and joins the ridge, then the cairns guide us to the rocky and somewhat broken top of Roc Diolon, at 3,071 meters, from where we will enjoy spectacular views.
