Between the De Kring theatre, the Tongerlohuys and Het Koetshuis you will find the Hasselt City Garden, a pleasant green place to linger or stroll through. The city garden offers space for art and culture, among other things. There are nine different works of art to admire in the garden and there are various temporary exhibitions throughout the year. The name of the city garden is in line with the city's history: the garden is named after the Van Hasselt banking family, which used to own a large part of the land.
