Orvieto is a beautiful medieval town built on a tuff plateau high above the valley. Picturesque streets, the cathedral, St. Andrea and two striking towers as well as the fortress make this town so distinctive. You can also visit the underground and look into the city's cellars.
The masses of cars remain in large parking lots below the city - a great solution.
You can easily get up using escalators.
